Words Conjured Into Being: wild fences & wishes

the last of the wild fences

creeks overflowing

with unconventional ideas

about life

and love

and the nature

of what can be achieved

wild fire rages

blown by the sneer

and the salt

and the dogged determination

of the

western world

languorous mountain valleys

become distant memories

fate sanctioned

by the rise of

our perseverance

by the night of our pain

and the last of the wild fences

waits for fall

and the passing of time

to conceive of winter

this is the circle

that has no center

the flower

that has no roots

——–

my wish

may your day

be filled

with all the love

you can handle

and maybe

just a little bit more

your cup

transparent

refracting

your brilliant spectrum

over flowing

your soul

like a butterfly

drying its wings

after the rain

ready to fly

unwinds

——–
