Summer wanes though Davis City Council, city commissions, and the Yolo County Board of Supervisors continue on vacation through Labor Day. The Davis Joint Unified School District Board of Education, however, went back to school.
A brief recap of the August 18 school board meeting:
- The Board received a back to school update on enrollments and programs
- The Board discussed and determined a timeline for decisions to made regarding the renewal of Measures Q and W. A mail-in only election has been set for March 6, 2012.
- The Board discussed the impact of the enacted state budget on the district’s budget.
