Aaaaaannnnnndddddd we’re back!

Well, hello Davis. We hope that you’ve had a wonderful summer thus far. Officially speaking, summer is not over for another month but DJUSD starts back to school this week and before you know it the UC Davis students will be swarming around town moving from one apartment to another thus beginning another active year in good ol’ Davisville.

Below, find all of the opportunities to follow our local government for the upcoming week.

5:30pm – CITY – Bicycle Advisory Commission – The City’s Bicycle/Pedestrian Coordinator, Tara Goddard, is leaving her position shortly so there are several items on the agenda to prepare the commission for that vacancy including short term goals and an update on the status of all their work.

7:00pm – CITY – Business & Economic Development Commission – Considering the implementation of a comprehensive strategy.

Kemble K. Pope chooses to be a downtown Davisite and is proud to have been born a 6th generation Texan. He likes to garden, play with his huge dog in the great outdoors and say, "No... maybe... ok, but just a little" to folks who ask him to volunteer.
