Dirt-y Weekend: No F-f-f-foolin’.

This week the Dirt had an opportunity to cross over the Grapevine and participate in the endlessly entertaining (for Californians anyway) game of “Comparing Southern California Unflatteringly With Northern California!” Conclusion: SoCal’s got fantastic breasts and negative ions galore.  But strip off  those Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips and Ugg boots and what else have you got??  This weekend is an example of why our town gives the Viper Room a serious run for its money, what with the lineups at Sophia’s, Delta, and one-of-a-kind Davis house shows, PLUS (!) Shakespeare in the Arboretum, U.S.  Bicycling Hall-of-Famer Chet Kyle, and a Native American Pow Wow. Take that Johnny.
