This Weekend in the People’s Republic

My mom showed me this youtube video earlier this week.  This was strange, because my mom is not the most techno-culturally savvy person around…  But I was pleasantly surprised!  The first few minutes alone makes me happy to be a human being every time I’ve watched it.

In the face of the future (whether it’s scary and uncertain, certainly mundane, or somewhere in-between), it’s kind-of nice to have these types of little digital threads of happiness.  There are so many places to see and people to meet; it’s great to be reminded of this every once in a while!

Regardless of the grander future, I CAN tell you that there’s a lot to do in the immediate weekend-future!  So get thee outside, check out all the right and relevant culture and remember:

“You.  You are awesome.”

Thanks for the smile, Lucy. :-)

How about updating your bio? Would love to know your future goals post-graduation, because, “You. You are awesome.”

  2. Jake Clemens says:

Oops, I’m a little late getting to this, darn. DavisFarm to School had the biggest crowd of happy tasters yet last Friday…must be because of the ever-so-awesome DavisVoice.com!
