This Weekend in the People’s Republic
Apparently weekdays and weekends still happen in the summer! Who knew?! Apologies, People of the Republic, for last week my duties seemed to get lost in all the packing-up and moving-out I’ve been doing lately.
I’m happy to be back in Davis couch-surfing and celebrating life (both through birthdays and good old fashioned kick-its) with friends. Unfortunately the excuse for my trip up, namely continuing the process of getting my accumulated four years of college-life packed into my truck, is a long and draining one. Fortunately, I can turn it into a weeks-long process—using the whole summer to ACTUALLY move out of Davis.
It turns out that there wasn’t much to do last weekend anyway… As it seems is the case this time around too! Get thee outside anyway… It’s totally worth it for either this right and relevant culture OR just plain summer fun!
I hope everyone had an amazing Father’s Day last weekend!!
