1:30 pm – Yolo County Board of Supervisors – receive the county’s Single Audit Report for fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 and receive an oral report from the independent auditors; adopt a mitigated negative declaration for the low-water bridge replacement project at Cache Creek Canyon Regional Park; Davis Senior High School Future Farmers of America Agriculture team presentation on the issues surrounding the California Delta; consider resolution opposing the “New Two-Thirds Vote Requirement for Public Electricity Providers.”
6:00 pm – Davis City Council – public hearing on resolution to adopt the Housing Element; public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Housing Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) 2010-2011 funding recommendations; residential development status report as of January 1, 2010 and, consistent with Council goals for 2009-2010, initiate preliminary planning efforts on the two potential infill sites of DJUSD Headquarters site (“green light” site 1) and PG&E Service Center site (“green light” site 8) in cooperation with the property owners; Third and B building purchase and sale agreement

9:00 am – COUNTY – Behind the Board: Join a member of the Board of Supervisors and the new County Administrator, among other department heads to explore first hand the “behind the scene” workings of the leadership of the county. This is a free informational event sponsored by the County of Yolo and the Board of Supervisors.

7:30 pm – Saving California Communities hosts Senator Loni Hancock speaking on Proposition 15, the California Fair Elections Act, which will appear on the statewide June ballot. Free and open to the public.
