Copius Collection of Council Candidate Forums
Over the next nine days, there will be at least six opportunities for the voters of Davis to learn more about the five candidates in a public forum setting. Over the next few weeks, The Davis Voice will bring you all the election information you’ll need to make your decisions come Election Day, June 8th.
The last day to register to vote is Monday, May 24th. If you’ve moved or changed your name since the last election, or you’re a new voter, visit the Yolo County Elections Office to register.

Wednesday, April 28th, 6pm – 8pm (TONIGHT!)
Davis Senior Center (646 A Street)
At the forum, all five candidates will be asked to describe how they believe the City Council should respond to the current and future needs of the city’s seniors.

Following the candidates’ brief opening remarks, CHA organizers will pose formal questions, some of which will be based on findings published in the document What Are the Housing Needs of Davis Seniors? CHA Community Outreach Results. That document, which is available at www.chadavis.com on the Web, consolidates the views that nearly 1,200 Davis residents expressed in more than 200 outreach meetings that CHA conducted during the past two years. Audience members also will be invited to ask questions. This event is sponsored by the Institute for Restorative Health (IRH).
CHA is a community organization with more than 400 members seeking more and better housing choices for Davis seniors. For more information, call (530) 574-0005.
