This Weekend in the People’s Republic

Fall quarter officially ended for me at 8:43 this morning when I turned in my last final.  A soggy bike-ride later, I was sitting in my kitchen, munching on oatmeal without a care in the world…

…Until I remembered that I still had to share all the right and relevant culture that’s going on this weekend!  So here it is!!  Enjoy!!!

P.S.  My Victory Ballad of the Moment (Ed. Note – This YouTube video is not for the faint of heart.  Please, only click on this link if you are prepared to throw yourself inhumanely about a large space whilst long-haired, hard-rocking, nimble-fingered rockers spew forth some seriously glorious shredded tunes.  Also, everything on this weekend’s recommended events list is completely unlike this video.)

  1. Susan Lovenburg says:

Through the fire and flames we carry on. I can get into that. But what I can’t decide … are they more expressive with the guitars or the hair?
