Everyone Likes a Winner
UC Davis Football wins Great West Championship.
The Aggies (6-4, 3-1) took the title during the final home game of the season after a hard fought game against the North Dakota Sioux, 28-20. The Band-uh celebrated in their first new uniforms in over 20 years.
Alvin Remmers is a 67-year-old Davis resident who is currently finishing his Davis-centric documentary, "The Closing of the Palms Playhouse", to premiere early 2010 at the Davis Varsity Theatre as a benefit for Davis Media Access. Details here: http://www.moonandbackproductions.com
