This Weekend in The People’s Republic

Our lovely little town has been washed clean by a storm once known as a typhoon by our sister city Inuyama, Japan.  Get thee outside and enjoy perfect the fall weather and lush landscape. More right and relevant opportunities for fun than you can shake a stick at, just after the jump.

Art in the Cemetery [CULTURE]

Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road

11AM – 3PM

Support local artists, enjoy live performances and visual art inspired by the Davis Cemetery. Visit for a chance to see what your friends and neighbors have been drawing, painting, photographing, dancing, and writing about here at the Davis Cemetery. inspired.

Kemble K. Pope chooses to be a downtown Davisite and is proud to have been born a 6th generation Texan. He likes to garden, play with his huge dog in the great outdoors and say, "No... maybe... ok, but just a little" to folks who ask him to volunteer.
