This Week in YOUR Government
For the first time since the Nixon administration (so I'm told), California has a role to play in the Presidential primary contests. So, most of the events and news will be focused there. Unless there is a landslide, most districts' delegates will split evenly (not in the CA 1st!). There is dissension in the House of Schwarzenegger. Local pols are focusing on endorsing Clinton or Obama, rather than endorsing each other for the far-off June elections.
So, the pickings are slim for local government as we all focus on partisan and state matters. After the jump, find a few ways to fulfill your civic duty this week.
