After you’ve done your civic duty by attending ALL of these meetings, you’ll deserve a worthy boon: come visit us again on Thursday for a listing of the best cultural and entertainment options that Davis has to offer over the weekend.

  - Looking for a really good reason to drink on Monday night?  You just
  found it.  Better yet, we found drinking buddies for you…

Does
watching George W. Bush on television make you want to throw your  shoe
at the TV?  Reach for a stiff drink?  Well, the dark days are almost
over.  This Monday, President Bush will be giving his very last State of the Union speech… ever.  And best of all, you don’t have to suffer through it alone!

Come out and watch
Bush’s speech on Monday evening with people who feel your pain and
share your overriding desire to see a Democrat in the White House.
Democrats in Sacramento will join together for an evening of fun and
camaraderie to celebrate the ending of the Bush Administration and to
gear up for a Democratic victory in 2008.
